HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
WOW....that't about all I can say! I can hardly believe that my babies are 5 years old. I know it sounds so cliche' to say "I can remember the day they were born" but it truly does not seem like 5 years ago. They have grown up so quickly, with a little help from their big sister, right before my eyes. They are a true joy to be around and make me smile and sometimes cry everyday. They are also as different as night and day. Emma is very girly and likes to be fashionable, have her hair done, and not get dirty. Ella, on the other hand, is a struggle to even get dressed and comb her hair, likes to hunt bugs and finds dirt without even looking. Throw Taylor in the mix and we have a house full of drama but I wouldn't want it any other way.
MiMi's visit
It was GREAT fun to have MiMi here! The girls got to celebrate their birthday with her, visit with our friends Averie and Baylor and cousins Hope, Calla and JT and do lots of parks, picnicing and slushy drinks. They are already asking when she is coming back?!

Kids 1K Run
Well we, I should say I, survived our first family 1K run. Keep in mind that I am NO runner so it was quite an accomplishment for me to finish this 1K. I also had to run faster than Dave and the girls and backwards to capture the second photo of them running. Dave was not about to slow down for a photo until after crossing the finish line with a big hug! I'm pretty sure this will be an annual family event.
Happy Mother's Day!
L - R: Ashlyn, Reagan, Sydney, Emma, Ella, Sophia and Carli
The girls with Ms. Sheila, their preschool teacher, at "Muffins with Moms". All the girls at school got to enjoy cookies and juice with their moms and do a craft together. The girls then performed a little song for the moms. It was the cutest thing ever!
SOOOO BEHIND
These prints were made by Taylor in her school art class and displayed at the school art show in early May. The top print was actually framed and was chosen as the best in 1st grade for the 1st quarter of school. It was displayed in the school hall and various local restaurants in town and then went to the art show. It is now proudly hanging in the front foyer of our home!
