***************My Snow Bunnies**********

Ella
Taylor
Emma

We finally got enough snow that the girls could go out and play. I couldn't get their snow pants and boots on fast enough. They kept busy while mom shoveled the drive way. It wasn't too good for snowmen and there wasn't quite enough to go sledding so we will keep waiting. The less, the better for me.  Posted by Picasa

Daddy's Helper!

Well, I finally convinced Dave to do what was supposed to be my project. I planned to paint the spare bedroom this winter but what would have taken me a month took Dave a weekend. Now, its done! I don't have a finished picture to post so one will have to follow. These photos look a little too orange since the paint is still wet. It is actually a deep terra cotta orange. It's called spanish tile. It goes very well with the distressed black furniture and wood trim. It will be accented with stainless steel. Now, I have an excuse to go shopping for wall pictures, a lamp and nick nacks. Posted by Picasa

New winter jackets! I bought them intending to keep them for next year but they are so darn cute that the girls just had to wear them. I got them at Old Navy for $6.99. They were normally $42.50 marked down to $13.99 and they were 50% off. They should be big enough to wear next year, too. Taylor picked out 2 dressier coats for next year that were $7.99 each. I LOVE my bargains!
Ella being silly! She was on a big orange kick for a while. She only liked them quartered with the skin still on so she could eat them like this. Her mouth and cheeks did get sore after awhile. Posted by Picasa

QUIET

Sorry for not posting lately! Not a whole lot has been going on with us. The girls started back to school after the holiday break so we are back to early mornings, homework and early to bed. We have been to a few movies. The girls love the big screen and are very good during the whole thing. Emma has fallen asleep through every movie so far. We saw Happy Feet, Charlotte's Web and Night at The Museum. Charlotte's Web has my vote. Taylor also had a playdate at Monkey Jump. It is an indoor inflatable playground. She had great fun with her friend Parker. Check it out.....http://www.monkey-jump.com/

Mimi's Home

Posted by Picasa I think that Mimi coming home was the best part of Christmas! The girls were so excited to pick her up at the airport. We did lots of fun stuff together.....shopping, museum, Toledo Zoo lights, play date with Averie, Baylor, Kylie and Reagan and of course lots of slushy drinks from our favorite Speedway station. Thanks Dave for the gift card. Mimi also brought her guitar home and sang for the girls before nap and bedtime. They loved it. Then comes the hard part of saying good-bye. Mom can't sing or play the guitar and the girls miss their music. We are hoping Mimi will visit us again soon. We hopefully plan to make a trip to Boston but probably not until August. We definitely can't wait that long! We love and miss you Mimi.....very much (from Emma)!

SISTERLY LOVE

They really do love each other!

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Posted by Picasa
Christmas morning at the Sharpe house! Taylor was the first to get up around 8. We could hear Emma & Ella talking in their bedroom. Santa left them new blankets on their beds and a present under their tree. We finally went to get them to go downstairs. Santa left Emma and Ella Bitty Babies and Taylor an American Girl doll with a new stroller for each. They also got new robes, pajamas and slippers. Taylor got a disney digital camera that she is very excited about. Emma & Ella got their own Leapfrog Leapsters. Now, they can leave Taylor's alone. Santa was very good to mom & dad, too. We all must have been very good this year. We thank everyone for everything! We are very excited to start a new year as a happy healthy family and wish all our family and friends a GREAT 2007! Taylor turns 6

Taylor turned 6 on December 20th. She wasn't feeling the best and actually missed school on her birthday. She did go the next day and shared brownies with her class and a book that she got to pick out, wrap and open in front of the class to keep at the school library. The library actually marks it with her name and birthdate. We were fighting a fever and then sinus stuff off and on for a week or more. It actually started with Emma and then Taylor. Fortunately, Ella only got a few sniffles...no fever. Everyone was much better for Christmas Day! Posted by Picasa

Santa & Mrs. Clause

Santa & Mrs. Clause also came to visit Grandma & Grandpa Sharpe's. The girls got lots of great toys. We were a little worried about Ella, but once she noticed the presents, she walked right up to Santa. Posted by Picasa

The Sharpe Christmas

We had Christmas a little earlier this year at Grandma & Grandpa Sharpe's. Sometimes we don't have it until after the holidays, but this year everyone's schedule worked out better having it early. The girls' each got their own Ohio State Brutus the Buckeye shirt with their name on the back. They were a big hit! Posted by Picasa
