Maggie Moo's Ice Cream

Sophia hugging Maggie Moo as Emma watches. That's about as close as Emma got and Ella was crying while attached to my leg.

They did enjoy the ice cream though! All the ice cream is made on site daily and served within 24 hours after it hardens in the cooler. The girls got to help make cotton candy ice cream and then got to eat their flavor pick with any topping. Ella is enjoying chocolate with chocolate sprinkles and Emma has chocolate with gummy bears(which got hard from the ice cream and she then took them off). I loved every bite of my raspberry sorbet with fresh raspberries mixed in...YUM!

Swimming

Emma & Ella did their annual swim-float-swim refresher course in early February before all the sickness hit. Ella is still a fish in the water. She is so comfortable and absolutely loves it. Emma does what she has to but is more comfortable kicking around in a little kiddie pool that she can touch, jump and splash in.

This is from Christmas, but it is too darn cute not to share with everyone. Mimi better visit soon if she ever wants to talk to Boo. Ella has refused to talk with Mimi on the phone since her Christmas visit. She says it will make her cry.

What have we been doing?

I know we haven't posted much since the holidays but in short....we have all been sick! First, Ella with a double ear infection, then Taylor caught some bug, mom got a sinus infection that went back to Ella for another double ear infection last Monday. Emma was then tested for strep throat on Wednesday....it was negative but she has a nasty cold and Taylor tested positive for influenza on this Monday. She was so sick! It hit her last Thursday and she could not even sit up for more than 5 minutes at a time until yesterday because she was so weak. She will hopefully be headed back to school tomorrow, even if its only for a 1/2 day. Ella also has a follow up Dr. appt for her ears. Keep your fingers crossed. If she has another infection within the month, we will be headed to an ENT for possible ear tubles...YUCK! Hopefully, we and all our sick friends we know, will be getting better soon and there will be more positive things to post. Keep checking...!

Emma's Dance Recital costume

The attached link shows Emma's dance recital outfit for the tap dance portion of her show that will be in May. The tap routine is about baby ducks. She will also be performing as a butterfly in a ballet routine. We did not have to buy a costume for this part. She will be wearing a white leotard with white tights and the teacher is providing each student with a different set of colored wings and tutu. I don't have any current dance class photos. Keep looking.....I will add some soon.
